The Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi paid President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan a courtesy visit yesterday at the Villa in Abuja. This is another lesson for ardent and dogmatic politicians' supporters who can do anything (infact some can die) for their preferred choice. The script been played goes beyond how it started sour... Support with brain always.

ACJ OAU Press Statement On The Rape Case

“When people see a problem, they often reach for the easiest solution: pass a law. That doesn’t always work out, because force rarely changes things for the better, and that’s what those “laws” really are, just exercises of force.”

Over the years on this campus, many rape cases have been reported and dealt with in ways both commendably prudent and abysmally unforeseeable. The recent one is no exception. And we all duly know the attitude of the entire student populace towards this perversion irrespective of the guilty party.

It is true that it is a tradition to deal with criminals – however, not suspects – but convicts, found guilty by a court of law, or a trial jury. In fact, the resolution of the maddening mob at dusk on Monday, 27th October, as an aftermath of a previous day being Sunday, 26th, was a clear misplacement of the scientific maximum shishsi (SMS); it was practically a deviation towards inhumanity and self-driven torture.

Ten Most Marketable Courses In Nigeria

Compiled by Suraj Oyewole of Jarus Hub

Caveat: This is not based on hard data but on observations. It is compiled by JarusHub editor and 2 other contributors to this portal. Note also that this is not based on who earns the highest salary, but who has potential to earn decent income with his degree. Potential is the operative word here.

Here we go:

10. Mass Communication/Journalism: Mass Communication will remain a marketable because not many Universities do it, but many institutions need it. The downside is, journalism is not seen as exclusive preserve of MassComm graduates, as graduates of almost any course are recruited by news outfits. Yet, the course still stands a decent chance.

9. Law: Maybe the supply is fast outstripping demand and affecting pricing, Law has declined in economic value. However, it remains a Top 10 course. Whether you decide to practice or go into corporate world, or you decide to go into allied things like real estate agency, you still stand a decent chance of …

Opinion Poll; Have Your Say On The Current OAU Students' Union Crisis

It is no longer a fresh news neither is it inconspicuous to the blind nor inaudible to the deaf that our Students' Union leadership is in a state of anarchy. I mean the polar nature of our elected Union leaders are just too lucid. In your own objective observation and critical evaluation of the turn of events since the inception of the Ibikunle-led 2013/2014 Parliamentary Session, who is to be blamed for the whole imbroglio?Loading...
