June 12: Students' Union Organizes Symposium To Discuss "Why Democracy?"

The Great Ife Students' Union through the Office of the Public Relations Officer has organized a symposium to discuss "Why Democracy" on the June 12 in remembrance of the annulment of arguably Nigeria's most popularly accepted election.

The symposium has been billed for 9am at Afrika Amphi Theater on Friday, 12th June, 2015. The likes of Sam Omatseye, the Chairman, Editoral Board, The Nations; Destiny Adodo, former Speaker, Great Ife Students' Union parliament 2008/09; Prof Omotoye Olorode, from The People's Pedagogue, also a Professor of Botany, Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife. will be on ground as Speakers for the event.

Also lined up for the educative and enlightening symposium are poetic rendition, Artistic display and Drama Presentation among other items.
