OAU Admission Exercise For 2016/2017 Session Closed


Following several inquiries, the Obafemi Awolowo University has ended her admission exercise for the 2016/2017 Academic session. This was revealed in an interaction with the office of the Registrar of the University and was further confirmed by the Admissions Office of the institution.

Commenting of the admission process, a representative of the Registrar’s office disclosed that all admission lists for the 2016/2017 Academic session had been released and any candidate whose name had not appeared on the JAMB admission portal was advised to register for the next UTME examination in due course.

The Registrar also commented on the recently released admission list, clarifying that the list released was only the first batch and that aspirants should continue to check their admission statuses ignoring the said JAMB deadline as other batches of the admission list would be released in due course

  10. Oau.. I wonder why they just can't do things right.. When they were asked to release all the list, they were delaying. If it's to re-open portal to for screening and collect Money they know how to but to give admission, they can gladly say it has closed.. Re write utme like it's easy.. No one is getting younger
    Where do you expect people to start from. Another frustration, another year.. Starting over again.
    Even people who qualified for admission, were still left abandoned..
    Where is justice?
    Keep living on your past glories. Worst school for anyone to waste time on. Even strike no gree them rest
