So OAU Peeps interacted with Hon. Sola Onimole, of the Faculty of Technology and member Budgetary and Finance Committee popularly known as Pchaun and here's what he had to say.

Interview Session with Sola Onimole, honourable of the OAU SRC representing Faculty of Technology

Good evening sir, we would like to know you.
Hon Pchaun: My name is Onimole 'Sola Paul, studentt of OAU, Mechanical Engineering part four.
Is that all there is to know about you?
Hon Pchaun: I'm an honourable for my faculty.
What faculty is that?
Hon Pchaun: Faculty of Technology, I'm also the class rep of my department.
Perhaps, some background, educational background, where are you from?
Hon Pchaun: I'm from Lagos Island, I stay in Ogun state, I was born into a family of four, the second child and we have just a girl. Educational background, I had my primary and secondary education in Lagos state before coming down to Ife.

OAU CDL Opens Predegree Application, Says Programme Not Cancelled By NUC

The Center for Distance Learning of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-ife has opened​ application into the Predegree programme for the 2017/2018 Academic session.
The center has also on its web portal stated that contrary to what was widely spread sometime last year, the programme has not been scrapped by the Nigerian Universities Commission (NUC).

ACJ OAU Inducts New Members In 3-Day Event

The Association of Campus Journalists inducted her new members between 3rd to 5th August 2017. The 3-in-1 program which was organized mainly for the new members of the association had several events for the inductees.

The induction ceremony was pivoted towards inducting the newly registered members and to create another opportunity  for old members to get together

The inter-faculty debate which was slated for the 3rd of August served as the inception of what the ceremony. The debate which started at some minutes to 12:00pm was held at faculty of Education Board room. Two faculties came around for the debate with two representatives each. This was presumed to be as a result of tight schedules of the last week lectures. The two faculties present were the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Science.

The program was graced by lecturers from departments like Botany, English, and even the Faculty of Education amongst others. The topic which had been given to the participants earlier was;…
