PUBLIC ANNOUNCEMENT

Beautiful Day to You, Dear Reader,

Foremostly, on behalf of OAU Peeps News Agency, I am using this medium to appreciate all our readers and well wishers across the country and beyond.

In the last couple of days, our website (http://oaupeeps.com) had been shut for administrative and maintenance purposes, based on the technical report and advice we received from our Website Engineers.

One of the major reasons we embarked on this routine maintenance was to widen our hosting capacity in order to accommodate the tremendous heavy traffic we have been witnessing on the website, since the last couple of months.

Throughout the period, we received numerous calls and messages from well meaning visitors and audiences of our site. They wanted to know what exactly was wrong. This impeccable action has really shown us how much you value our contents, even as you are so much valuable by us too.

With this, on behalf of the agency, I form…

Circular To The University Community

Image
The attention of the University Management has been drawn to the rumours being widely circulated that the students of the University are expected to vacate the campus.

We wish to assure all students that the University Academic Calendar for the 2017/2018 Academic Session is very much on course. As there are no plans to compel students to vacate the campus until the end-of year holidays, all members of the University community must be unanimous in the resolution to ensure that the Calendar remains sacrosanct.

The University Management therefore enjoins all students and staff to continue their normal activities in line with the University’s approved guidelines.

The University Management will like to assure all staff and students of their welfare and safety at all times.

Thank you

M. I. Omosule (Mrs.)
Registrar
