OAU Post-UTME Registration Commences on the 5th of October 2020

By  Ganiyu Ayanniyi The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife is set to start Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) registration on the 5th of October, 2020 for Jamb candidates who picked the institution as their first as well as for Direct Entry (DE) applicants. The registration form which is obtainable via the school portal (admission.oauife.edu.ng) at the amount of N2,000 is expected to close on the 31st of October, 2020.
After the payment for the registration form which would require generating Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number from the school portal, there will be need to authenticate the payment.
It is to be noted that the Post-UTME screening will be strictly observed under the guidelines as released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at the following centres: a) JAMB CBT Centre, Bwari b) Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

Micheal Ademuyiwa Emerges As NUASA OAU President

In the early hours of November 15 2019, the OAU Chapter of the Nigerian Universities Accounting Students’ Association; NUASA organised her elections. This marked the beginning of the end of the tenure of the current leadership of the association led by Akerele Isaac, popularly addressed as A.K Isaac.  In an interview with Faesan Omotayo, a part 3 student of NUASA, she stated about the current administration, "His regime was good because he made himself available for Nuasites."  However, as good as his regime might have been, it had to end. 

The candidates delivered their manifestos and publicized accordingly till the eve of the election. The electoral process was conducted in an orderly manner at the basement of Faculty of Administration.  Members of the association also came out to support their preferred candidates.
The election started at exactly 9am and ended 5pm. The collation and counting of votes was done from 5:00pm and the results were officially announced at 6:50…
