OAU Post-UTME Registration Commences on the 5th of October 2020

By  Ganiyu Ayanniyi The Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife is set to start Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (PUTME) registration on the 5th of October, 2020 for Jamb candidates who picked the institution as their first as well as for Direct Entry (DE) applicants. The registration form which is obtainable via the school portal (admission.oauife.edu.ng) at the amount of N2,000 is expected to close on the 31st of October, 2020.
After the payment for the registration form which would require generating Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number from the school portal, there will be need to authenticate the payment.
It is to be noted that the Post-UTME screening will be strictly observed under the guidelines as released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) at the following centres: a) JAMB CBT Centre, Bwari b) Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife.

Adetula David, is a recent science graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University. His passion for writing and reporting brought about him founding OAU Peeps News Agency while he was an undergraduate on campus. Ojelabi Jesujoba




Ojelabi Jesujoba, is a student of the Premier School of Pharmacy, OAU. He is a strong believer in the power of the pen and does not fail to establish this fact at any opportunity he gets. Known to many as Pope Jay, Ojelabi is also an astute debater and Poet. He also writes for the Editorial arm of PANS OAU; Pharmavox and BSF OAU. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of OAU Peeps News Agency.

Adigun Olayemi



Adigun Olayemi, is a student of the Department of Foreign Languages. He is currently studying French Language. Apart from being a foreign linguist, He takes special interest in writing articles, poems and short stories. His quest to build himself as future journalist spurred him to create his page on Facebook; Olayemi writer's forum (OWF). He is also the Deputy Editor in Chief(Administration) of OAU Peeps News Agency.

Oyetunji Ridwan


Oyetunji Ridwan, in his early twenties, is a final year student of the Botany Department, OAU, Ife. He takes special interest in writing articles and stories. As a Journalist, Ridwan engages more in Environmental Journalism.
He is a life Explorer, an optimist, and a knowledge seeker who seizes every available opportunity to learn and impact positively. He is our Deputy Editor-in-Chief (Publications).

Durodola Abiola



Durodola Abiola, is a student of the Department of Urban and Regional Planning, OAU. He hails from the ancient city of Ibadan in Oyo State. Abiola is a political enthusiast and a social commentator who believes in transparency, credibility and accountability when it comes to news reportage and investigation. He is our General Secretary.

Farombi Oluwaseun



Farombi Oluwaseun, is a student of the Premier School of Pharmacy, OAU. Oluwaseun known to many as 'Babafaros' hails from Oyo Alaafin of Oyo state. He is a political enthusiast and very diligent in any assignment given to him especially when it comes to information. He currently serves as the Public Relations Officer and the Social Media Manager of OAU Peeps News Agency.

Sulaimon Ayomide



Sulaimon Ayomide, is the only female currently serving as an executive member of the team. She hails from Ikorodu in Lagos state. Ayomide is a student of Language Arts Education in OAU. According to her: "I love rationality, that is, being able to be considerate and have humanity at heart". Perhaps the reason for her flair for journalism.
