Do u tnk d combination is wrong?
ReplyDelete‘O’ Level Requirements for B. A. English in OAU: Credits in English Language; Literature-in-English plus one Arts subject and any other two (2) subjects.
DeleteUTME Requirements: Use of English, Literature-in-English, Government and Religious studies.
You are safe :noprob:
Oops! You made little mistake, typographical error. Faculty of law, Ekiti is 285.5 not 240.5
ReplyDeleteThank you very much for drawing our attention to that. It has now been corrected.
DeleteIs dat all?
ReplyDeletewen will d rest b awt?
ReplyDeletePls lets know when the rest r out
ReplyDeleteIt seems dis year's pd cutoff is quite low compared to last year's cutoff...I pray law should be so o
ReplyDeleteDid you say low? Compared to what we had last year? I don't think so. Moreover, Law has the highest cut-off mark.
DeleteThat is not all the cut-off marks, we still have about 7 faculties to go. Some faculties are yet to release theirs but our team members will be checking most faculties today. Kindly be patient as we get it to you.
ReplyDeleteOkay..Thumbs up for Oaupeeps. You guys are doin a great job..more power to your elbow.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the kind words. We are motivated!
DeleteWow.. I cant beliv dats d cut off mark 4 law, its just too high. Kilode.. lol

DeleteWe appreciate you guys posting it for us here. Thank you. I heard that of faculty of technology is out also.
ReplyDeleteIt has been uploaded here.
Deleteis the cutoff mark going to be used to admit the whole students? who are those people that constitute the first, second and third list? pls I'm having 275.5 aggregate and I opt for law m pls do I still have any hope?
ReplyDeleteThat is the cut-off marks that will be used to admit candidates except for those with 'long legs'
DeletePls what of education?I put in for english education!
ReplyDeleteWe are working hard to get that too. We were there today but it is not out yet.
DeleteI put in for Eng edu too. . Lets meet pls.
Deleteoh my God, Thank God, I made, 257 agg dentistry Ekiti..........Thank God, 244 in jamb and 270 in putme

ReplyDeleteWe are working on getting the cut-off marks for the Faculty of Social Sciences where Economics is. Kindly be a little patient to know your chances.
DeleteHow many people will make the cut off mark for law?
ReplyDeleteLol... you will be surprised some will still make it but they may not be many.
DeleteWot about the pre-degree cutoff for the faculty of admin.??
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
DeleteWe are yet to get that.
DeletePeepz... Will candidates goin tru pre-degree (had below 200 in JAMB) also get dre admission status wen it is out???
ReplyDeleteDepending on how far from 200. If above 180, they should.
DeletePls Arts and Humanities oooo.
ReplyDeleteKindly exercise patience. We are working on that too.
DeleteCan we get it today?
DeleteI cannot categorically say for now. Our correspondents will determine that but before Monday ends, if it is out, you will get it.
DeleteWe thank God, my aggregate is the same as the cut off for computer engineering, under ELDS. My chances should be high right?
ReplyDeleteDepending on your State of Origin. ELDS means Educationally Less Disadvantaged States. These are states outside the South West region.
DeleteYeah, I'm from one of those states. The first list, is it only merit or it'll include catchment areas and ELDS?
DeleteThe first list should be purely merit but I am not sure about that for now.
DeletePls wat abt the predegree cut off any information about dat?
ReplyDeleteThe cut-off marks for some departments are included if you check closely. Those that are not there is due to their non-availability for now.
DeletePls wen wil dey start releasing the merit list and ow wil d pre degree list come out, is it with merit lis(? And also about d pre degree cut off,,pls reply
ReplyDeleteThe merit list should be out any moment from now (probably next week). You will be able to see it on JAMB website by checking your admission status.
DeleteThe Pre-Degree list usually come after the Merit List.
Pls i need to know sir,i chose medicine tru jmb but i had 254 as my agg..,but in my pd i chose pharmacy and i had 77.2,but d cut off is73.2,will i get my pharmacy
ReplyDeleteWithout mincing words, you should get your Pharmacy. Your aggregate score of 254 will not give you medicine which automatically places you on a possible subsequent list. The PD list comes next and your picked up.
DeletePlease can someone with 280.5 still make it for law?
ReplyDeleteHonestly speaking, not by merit if you are from any of the SW states.
Delete@ d question ansad previously... Yes, it is above 180... 197 to b precise...
ReplyDelete197 is in the safe zone provided you meet other conditions. I mean cut-off marks.
Delete@forum, please I hv my aggregate as 263. And ma pd score is 70.4 and I want to study lay,,any chance either in pd or putme?
ReplyDeletePredegree should give you Law on merit. Let us wait for the release of their PD cut-off mark.
Deletehi, pls my choice course is inter rel, my subject combination is english, govt, literature and crk i didn't know that maths is compulsory until after the post utme, i had 207 in jamb nd 276 and my agg is 241.5 i'm from ondo state pls will i be admitted
ReplyDeleteOuch! You beat the cut-off mark by far but I hope the wrong subject combination will not be the problem because for International Relations, UTME subjects include: English Language, Mathematics, Government and any other Social Science subject.
DeleteApforum, please I hv my aggredgate as 263 and ma pd score is 70.4 and I want to study law,,do I hv any chance either in pd or putme
ReplyDeleteAlready answered above.
DeleteDoes the merit list entails doz dat fall within the cutoff point....if no??...which list will dey be included cuz ma aggregate is 227.5 for oyo inter rel...i really want to know if i will admited
ReplyDeleteSowi i mean doz dat fall wihin the catchment area
ReplyDeleteHi, please my aggregate is 262.5 for Medicine and Im from Edo state. I doubt if I can make the list for Med. Will I be able to get something like Dentistry whose ELDS cutoff is 250.5? Thank you.
ReplyDeleteSincerely, that is difficult to say. Your score could give you a course in the Faculty of Science in the Supplementary List tho.
DeleteWhat about Pharmacy? ELDS is 230.
DeleteNo... Pharmacy is another Faculty in its own class.
DeletePls I had 212 in my jamb and 226 in my postutme, aggregate is 219 and I put in for international relation from osun state but based in lagos. What's d chance like? Tnx
ReplyDeleteIt is your State of Origin that will be used and not where you stay that will be used for the admission processing.
DeleteI had close to 281 and i am from ogun do i still have a chance?
ReplyDeletePleas, we need social science faculty cutoff. Especially Economics. Thanks
ReplyDeletepls wit 241.5 as agregate opting 4 accounting, ondo state pls can dy stil consider me? As long as i stil beat down some states i need respons tha wil mak me happy pls
ReplyDeleteSo close... be hopeful and prayerful, you may be considered in the Supplementary list.
DeletePls sir my aggregate mark is 277.5 n i wnt 2 study law,pls do i stil av d chans 2 study law?
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Which state are you from? Some ELDS states score are within that range.
DeleteAm from Ogun state my aggregate score is 191. Is there any hope of me gaining admission. Plz 4 Almighty Allah sake I need correct answer. Wants to study civil engr buh I would not if given any course.
ReplyDeleteA minimum score of 200 in Post UTME is required to activate any hope of admission into OAU. Sorry about that.
Deleteaggregate 258...chemical engineering ekiti state..
ReplyDeleteOya shake me...lol :noprob: Congratulations! your in
DeletePlz i had 231 as my agregate 2 study med nd surg, plz wil oau gv me admsn, even if nt mbbs?
ReplyDelete231 is pretty low from the cut-off mark of Medicine. Be hopeful any way.
DeleteI got 75.8 in PD, I chose nursing, but is it possible to change to another course like pharmacy? if it's possible, pleaaase how do I go about it?
ReplyDeleteHmmm... Congratulations for your beautiful score. Changing to Pharmacy is not feasible. Even, considering the curriculum for Nursing, you cannot cross to Pharmacy after your first year.
DeleteBy the way, I think you initially chose Nursing yourself and Nursing is not a bad course afterall. I would not know why you no longer want it.
Hello oau peeps...pls what's the marking guide for d cut off...is it just the postutme scores alone or the combination of both jamb and putme divided by 2...
ReplyDeletePls shed more light...about d aggregate tin.
It is the aggregate score of your UTME and POst-UTME i.e UTME + Post-UTME / 2
DeleteSo what if a law student score 360 in putme like that girl that was mentioned..and score 210 in jamb, the aggregate won't be up to d cut off..just 285...ar you telling us that the aggregate tin is d reason she won't get admission??
ReplyDeleteAfter shouting her name all over the media??
Pls we need oaupeeps to shed light on dis aggregate tin
Did anyone score 360 in the just concluded OAU Post-UTME? Nevertheless, that is an exceptional case and she will be offered admission based on her outstanding performance in the exam.
DeletePls is the cut off mark for college of sciences out keep me updated thank you
ReplyDeleteCollege of Health Sciences or Faculty of Sciences you mean? If you mean Faculty of Sciences, no problem, we will. However, that of the College of Health Sciences is already up there.
DeletePls is the cut off mark for college of sciences out keep me updated thank you
ReplyDeletesrzli oau is considering only post jamb performance buh nt jamb..if d girl dat gt 360 in pume came out with 200 in jamb den she's nt qualified fr law again
ReplyDeletewy z 2015 set unlucky...wat f u ar nt able to mit ur course cutoff mark wil giv u anoda to study
ReplyDeletePls,i need quick response to my question because i am so very confused. I scored 233.5 in my pume but i had E8 in my literature(WAEC),do i still have to be admitted to study any course in OAU,but the initial course that i put in for is Law
